Join Navy Safe Harbor Foundation and Navy League National Capital Council for our 10th annual Golf Tournament on Monday September 28, 2020 [Cancelled] at Springfield Golf and Country Club! The Country Club has designed their restaurant and cart protocols to meet Virginia’s Phase 3 guidelines, making the tournament and dining a safe and fun event for all involved.
Unfortunately, NSHF has had to cancel several fundraising events due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Your support for our Navy and Coast Guard Sailors and their families is needed now more than ever! Please act now to ensure that this tournament is a success and we are able to continue to meet the needs of our seriously wounded, ill and injured Navy and Coast Guard Sailors and their families.

The Navy Safe Harbor Foundation (NSHF) is a 501(c)3, non-profit charity dedicated to supporting seriously wounded, ill, and injured Navy and Coast Guard Sailors and their families with resources not available through government or community avenues. The NSHF is unique in comparison to other non-profits that only support OIF/OEF war casualties; we provide support not only for wounded warriors, but also for those who have sustained shipboard accidents, liberty accidents, or have serious medical and psychological conditions (cancer, severe PTSD).
Our government counterpart, Navy Wounded Warrior, is the official Navy program and the lead organization for coordinating the non-medical care of wounded, ill, and injured Navy and Coast Guard Sailors and their families. A Navy Captain (O-6) leads the program staff in Washington, DC, to provide services from the federal government and community organizations. When those resources are exhausted and there are still needs to be met, Navy Wounded Warrior, often turns to the Navy Safe Harbor Foundation to fill in the gaps so no one goes unsupported.
