Navy Safe Harbor Today…

Since 2009, Navy Safe Harbor Foundation (NSHF) has been the Navy Wounded Warrior (NWW) Program’s first call when a Navy or Coast Guard Sailor is in need.

This year, NSHF has filled 138 grants helping  Sailors and 40 grants helping Caregivers, addressing a variety of financial, travel and lodging needs.

Family members often become the primary caregiver for a Wounded Warrior, which can impact employment, emotional health, and family stability. NSHF has made Caring for the Caregiver a primary focus, and we are partnering with the NWW Program on that initiative.

This year, NSHF supported the Navy and Coast Guard Wounded Warrior Team as it prepared for and participated in the Warrior Games – a Paralympic-style competition for more than 200 wounded, ill and injured service members from all branches of the U.S. military.

NSHF is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that relies on donations to carry out our mission. Please consider helping us as we aim to ensure that every service member is given an opportunity for full recovery after a serious injury or illness.
